Staying Grounded Through Change

This time of year can feel particularly challenging as we move through the winter months and shorter days. Yet, if we allow it, this season can also offer an important invitation: to slow down, pause, reflect, and gently prepare for the year ahead.

For many of us, there have been significant changes. I’m noticing that people are shedding and letting go of what no longer serves them — old roles, expectations, ways of working, and ways of being. In my work, I see so many individuals re-examining their lives, relationships, and careers, and reconnecting with parts of themselves that may have been forgotten or set aside for a long time.

I believe we are collectively experiencing a period of deep transition. Many of us can feel it — the quiet (and sometimes unsettling) sense that something is ending, while something new is beginning to take shape. This can feel uncertain, but it can also be rich with possibility.

Trusting this process is not always easy. It often requires support — whether from trusted people in your life, reflective practices, or professional guidance — to help navigate both the personal and collective shifts we are moving through.

Staying Grounded

During times of change, staying grounded is essential. Here are a few gentle reminders that may help:

  • Take a moment each day to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself

  • Spend time in nature, even if it’s just a short walk or a few minutes outdoors

  • Simplify where possible and reduce unnecessary busyness

  • Find small ways to nurture yourself — journaling, mindfulness, creativity, or time with loved ones

There can also be pressure at this time of year to go along with expectations, routines, or traditions that no longer feel right. This is an opportunity to listen inward and allow what feels true for you to guide your choices.

Ways to Stay Connected

If you’d like support as you move through this season of reflection and change, there are a few ways we can connect:

🌿 Book a free 15-minute consultation call to explore ongoing groups and support options
🌿 Get in touch about the February workshop, where I’ll be working alongside astrologer and yoga teacher Claire O’Keeffe, using astrology as a tool to help us understand ourselves more deeply
🌿 Stay tuned for upcoming workshops, events, and Conscious Coaching opportunities in the New Year — details will be shared through the newsletter

Thank you for your continued support and for taking the time to read. I’m deeply grateful to be sharing this journey with you.

Warmly,
Monica
